Hi, I'm Greig!

I’ve spent over fifteen years behind a camera.

When it comes to photography, my passion is in funky and contemporary portraits and headshots, but I’ve regularly worked in the commercial and PR spaces. My clients have ranged from individuals on private commissions, to actors, drama schools, musicians, and corporate clients, as well as international chains and brands for commercial work.

I love playing with light, and will jump at any opportunity to create something cool and funky with you. I love dramatic and bold colours – I’ve spent much of my life creating things with light for the stage and screen. I spent much of my youth (!) working in theatre and concert lighting – and any excuse to bring some of that experience into the mix will definitely grab my attention.

In the film world, I have spent over a decade making corporate films for both internal and external use. With a wealth of experience in internal communications and content creation, I can help you craft an engaging story to share with your employees, your customers and much wider. I’ve worked in social content, animation and motion graphics, event coverage, training materials and promotional pieces. Get in touch to see some of my previous work.

So don’t hesitate to get in touch, especially if you’re looking for a funky and modern take on your imagery - still or moving.

You can reach me via any of my social media accounts, get in touch here or hit the big button below if you want to book headshots or urban portrait shoots.  For film projects, get in touch first to discuss your requirements.

Alternatively, find me on my main social media accounts – including my Instagram @differentlightphotography.

I’m based in Glasgow, Scotland, though I do travel extensively throughout the UK, so location isn’t a big issue. I really enjoy new challenges and locations, so feel free to drop me a line no matter where you’re from if you want to set up a shoot.

Please note that I am very much a street and location photographer, and don’t run a permanent studio.  Don’t let that put you off though, get in touch now!

I don’t take myself too seriously, I’m afraid.
